Job description:

The Structural Draftsperson has the authority to carry out tasks in accordance with the responsibilities detailed within this Position Description and as per the direction of the Project Leader Competencies Essential – (select those competencies deemed essential to completing the role effectively)

Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

• Compliance with the Company’s procedures, work instructions and goals.
• Identification and advice to Management of any quality concerns.
• Completion of checklists upon request.
• Rectification of any situations that could be a potential health and/or safety hazard.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Focus – Effective internal colleague relationships established and maintained with a high level of communication and understanding
2. Operations – High quality drawings for allocated Structural Engineering projects
3. Finance – Managing the costs of drawing production

Non-negotiable skills and requirements:

The applicant must have:

• 5-7 years (Australian) experience in structural drafting using Revit on residential, commercial and / or data centres.
• 5-7 years Revit experience using BIM 360, RTV, Aconex etc.
• Strong English communication
• Office-based role

Previous experience in:

• Concrete framed buildings, wall elevations, concrete details
• Reinforcing plans and details
• Precast elevations and details
• Steel framing and detailing
• Retention plans, elevations and details
