Job summary

MEGA PRIME FOODS INCORPORATED is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our tax strategy, compliance, and reporting. You will manage relationships with the BIR and LGUs, oversee audits, and handle corporate tax planning to ensure full regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include supervising tax staff, evaluating changes in tax laws, and driving efficiencies across tax operations. A CPA and strong knowledge of Philippine tax code are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and CPA preferred.
• Minimum 4–5 years of progressive tax experience with some management.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax code, BIR processes and transfer pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax planning and compliance in line with local regulations.
• Review and approve BIR filings and coordinate eFPS/eBIRForms submissions.
• Serve as primary lead for BIR examinations, LOAs, and LGU assessments.
• Oversee LGU permits, property tax payments and registrations across branches.
• Advise leadership on changes in tax regulations and business impact.
• Mentor senior/junior tax staff to improve efficiency.
