Job summary

Manila Water in Quezon City seeks an experienced Lead for Tax Compliance to shepherd the enterprise framework, policies, and controls across business units. Qualifications

• Must be a CPA with experience in local tax compliance, audit and technology implementation.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in tax compliance and operations, with 4-5 years of supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Key skills: Leadership, technical review, stakeholder management and risk identification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and day-to-day execution of the enterprise tax compliance framework, policies, and controls for assigned business units.
• Plan, coordinate, and review end-to-end tax compliance activities (calendars, filings, reconciliations, documentation) across relevant tax types.
• Coordinate with Finance, BU teams, and other tax sections to secure data, resolve issues, and ensure timely, accurate submissions
• Identify process and control improvement opportunities within assigned scope and elevate significant risks, issues, or precedent-setting matters to the Section Head - Tax Compliance.
