Job summary

Tap Growth ai in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Category Manager – Supplements to lead growth of the vitamins and wellness portfolio. You will own category strategy, portfolio management, supplier partnerships, pricing, inventory, and promotions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in category management within FMCG, pharmacy, or consumer health, strong negotiation and analytics skills, and the ability to translate market trends into commercial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Category Management, Retail, FMCG, Pharmacy, Consumer Healthcare, Wellness, or Distribution.
• Experience managing supplements, vitamins, sports nutrition, or wellness products is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Good understanding of pricing, margins, inventory management, and category performance.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, commercially minded, and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the Supplements category and achieve sales and profit targets. Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and new product opportunities. Analyze category performance and recommend actions to improve sales, margins, and profitability.
• Manage the product assortment across vitamins, minerals, sports nutrition, and wellness supplements. Evaluate product performance and recommend new product launches or SKU rationalization. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
• Source and develop relationships with local and international suppliers and brand principals. Lead negotiations on pricing, discounts, rebates, payment terms, MOQs, and marketing support. Monitor supplier performance, product availability, lead times, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Finance to maintain healthy inventory levels. Monitor stock movement, slow-moving items, and near-expiry products. Prepare and present reports covering sales, margins, inventory, product performance, and supplier performance.
• Partner with Marketing and Operations to develop promotions, campaigns, and merchandising initiatives. Support product knowledge and training programs for store teams. Ensure products are effectively positioned and promoted across relevant sales channels.
