Job summary

HRTx Inc. in Sto. Tomas, Batangas is seeking a Senior Buyer in Engineering and Industrial to lead end-to-end procurement for production. This onsite role ensures timely availability of engineered components, manages supplier performance, and optimizes inventory to balance cost and availability.

You will generate POs, negotiate terms, collaborate with Engineering and Production, and drive cost reductions while maintaining a robust supplier network to support discrete manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of purchasing/supply chain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Experience sourcing technical or engineered components (made-to-print, spec-based parts).
• Familiarity with international commercial terms and global trade/shipping terms.
• Has local sourcing experience.
• Understanding of savings calculations (cost avoidance, cost reduction, cash flow).
• Experience in a PEZA-registered environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Generate, release, and manage purchase orders (POs) based on production requirements.
• Maintain daily communication with multiple suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, and commitments.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to understand specifications, drawings, and material requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance availability and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure continuous material flow.
