Job summary

HRTx Inc in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead purchasing and sourcing for engineered components in a discrete manufacturing setting.

This hands-on procurement leader will manage day-to-day buys while guiding a small team to ensure cost, quality, and supply continuity. You will negotiate terms, establish blanket orders, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality teams to meet design and delivery needs.

Qualifications

• Senior or managerial experience in purchasing, sourcing or procurement.
• Strong background in discrete manufacturing or engineered products.
• Experience managing blanket orders and negotiating terms.
• Hands-on procurement expertise with team leadership ability.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchasing and sourcing activities in support of production, engineering, and operations.
• Directly placing purchase orders while supervising one team member.
• Establish/manage blanket purchase orders for production planning and inventory efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Source engineered, made-to-print components per drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning and Quality teams.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for quality and continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve cost, quality, delivery issues.
• Support cost-reduction, supplier rationalization and continuous improvement.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, standards and ethical sourcing.
