Job summary

BDO Unibank in the Philippines seeks a diligent Relationship Manager Trainee to support institutional clients and learn to manage relationships, understanding client needs and financial strategies. You will assist in account plans, monitor credit risk, prepare proposals, and help with documentation while developing sales and analytical skills within the Institutional Banking Group.

This role integrates on-the-job training with supervision from the Team Head, offering exposure to loan products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management/Administration, Accounting, or Economics from a reputable university.
• Preferably with at least two years' experience as an RM or RMA.
• Strong credit and analytical skills.
• Verbal communication and business writing skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Develop client relationships to increase utilization of bank products and services.
• Regularly interact with clients to understand their operations and markets.
• Formulate client Account Plans and monitor credit risk with analysis of financial data.
• Prepare and present credit proposals to relevant committees; ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure timely execution of approved proposals, maturities, repricings and renewals.
• Attain Loan ADB, profitability and other targets as mandated by management.
• Administrative: Ensure compliance with internal/external regulations and timely reporting.
• Mentor RM Assistants on account servicing and report preparation.
