The role involves reviewing local and international purchases, developing new suppliers, and guiding strategic sourcing to achieve cost savings while maintaining supplier data and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Educational degree or professional credentials related to business management.
• Formal education in supply chain management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of Supply Chain KPI targets (Strategic Procurement) with Logistics to reduce costs.
• Review local and international purchases; develop suppliers aligned with Balabag Project requirements.
• Supervise strategic sourcing and negotiation for goods and services including international freight forwarding.
• Review all purchase requisitions and assign commodities to buyers.
• Visit site for supply chain improvement plans and collaboration.
• Stay updated on market trends and benchmark supply agreements for value for money.
• Submit Training Calendar for approval by Manager and Superintendent.
• Submit KPI reports weekly.
• Ensure alignment with Purchasing Procedures and cost-saving initiatives.
• Organize material movement; review usage to prevent stockouts of fast-moving items.
• Maintain part number data for reordering maintenance commodities.
• Maintain Supplier and Commodity Registers.
