Job summary

VONOTEC, INC. is seeking a senior Purchasing Leader in the Philippines to head the department, develop procurement plans, and coordinate with Finance to optimize cash flow. You will manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and performance while ensuring timely import and local material procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or materials management.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in construction, engineering, industrial equipment, MEP, façade, elevator, or infrastructure industries is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent planning and analytical abilities.
• Experience using ERP or procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Purchasing Department and supervise the Purchasing Officer.
• Develop procurement plans based on project schedules and operational requirements.
• Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiations, and performance.
• Ensure timely procurement of imported and local materials.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Finance to optimize cash flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess stock while preventing delays.
• Improve procurement processes, controls, and reporting.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate logistics, warehousing and delivery schedules.
• Prepare procurement forecasts and purchasing budgets.
• Develop procurement KPIs and monthly management reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
