Private Advertiser is seeking a procurement professional to identify and source suppliers for materials and services, issue purchase orders, and negotiate favorable terms. You will monitor inventory, verify invoices, and maintain records to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, supplier management, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to collaborate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in property management, facilities management, construction or related field.
• Proficiency in procurement processes, supplier management and inventory control.
• Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Strong organizational and multi-supplier management abilities.
• Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Understanding of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
• Diploma/degree in supply chain or related field.
• Analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, evaluating and sourcing suitable suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment and services needed for property management operations.
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, quantities and pricing.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favourable payment conditions.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock availability without over-purchasing.
• Processing and verifying purchase invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining organised records of all procurement transactions, supplier information and contractual agreements.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and timelines.
• Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies, regulatory requirements and ethical purchasing standards.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the procurement function.
