Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking a Procurement Officer to source vendors, manage service implementations, and drive process improvements for branch projects in Makati/Ortigas. The role includes coordinating with Quantity Surveyors, reviewing bids, and ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic goals.

You will participate in negotiations, prepare RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support administrative tasks while ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with minimum 3 years work experience.
• Negotiation, organization, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Purchasing experience is an advantage.
• Computer literate, proficient in written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate for best price without sacrificing service quality.
• Receives and evaluates requests and prepares RFPs.
• Review proposals and tabulate them based on criteria.
• Monitor awarded services for SLA alignment and overall strategy.
• Explore improvements and possible automation of processes.
• Coordinate and guide business units on project requirements and details.
• Prepare reports and perform ad hoc responsibilities.
