Job summary

BDO Unibank in Makati is seeking a procurement and project support professional to participate in technical meetings, prepare quantity take-offs, and review bids submitted by contractors.

The role involves coordinating with designers and contractors to align scope, finalize budget recommendations, evaluate changes, source materials, and assist in timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Attends technical meeting and prepares Quantity take off;
• Review/ evaluate bids submitted by various contractors;
• Discuss with contractors regarding final scope of works to be implemented;
• Discuss with Designers regarding discrepancies of plans, if any;
• Coordinates with Contractors, assigned Facilities Planning Officers and Project Managers for the discrepancy of works prior to processing of the final budget recom;
• Tabulates/ negotiates and assists the finalization of budget recommendation;
• Evaluates additional works and change orders;
• Prepares shortlist of Mechanical Contractors for project bidding;
• Sourcing and purchasing of construction materials as may be required;
• Sourcing out of additional Mechanical contractors/ suppliers and construction consultants;
• Updates cost of mechanical materials based on current market value;
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
