Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation Sugar and Renewables, CARSUMCO division, seeks a Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement, from supplier sourcing and accreditation to negotiations and payment processing.

The role ensures availability of materials and services while following procurement policies and strategic frameworks. Candidates should have 2–3 years in procurement and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; knowledge of procurement processes.
• Certifications (Preferred): CPP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and cost savings.
• Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain documentation for compliance and payments.
• Maintain records of purchasing activities and supplier information.
