Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Analyst to deliver accurate procurement data and dashboards to support sourcing decisions. The role collaborates with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure compliant procurement records and reliable data preparation for day-to-day purchasing activities.

The analyst will manage RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, and purchase orders while supporting category strategy through data insights and market benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Economics and Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills using tools such as Power BI, SAP, ERP and/or relevant procurement platforms.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing data.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with Suppliers.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to procurement and supply chain management is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under tight deadlines.
• Experience in Technical Procurement or MRO & Services is an advantage.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

The Procurement Sourcing Analyst delivers accurate and timely procurement data to support informed sourcing decisions and improve purchasing performance. The role is responsible for collecting, validating, and organizing data required for spend analysis, supplier performance assessments, cost‑saving evaluations, and other procurement reporting activities. The position prepares dashboards, reports, and data sets that enable the Manager to perform analysis and make data‑driven decisions.

The role also collaborates with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain accurate procurement records, and support day‑to‑day operational purchasing activities through reliable data preparation and documentation.

Performs procurement buying functions, including sourcing, coordinating RFQ processes, negotiations, and purchase orders creation to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement for assigned commodities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement / Buying Responsibilities
