Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a capable planning professional to lead scheduling and resource management activities for complex projects. You will create baselines, track progress, and collaborate with management, civil teams, and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, capacity planning, and mentoring junior planners while driving continuous improvement initiatives across planning functions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing planning and scheduling for large projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate resources and contractors.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and management.

Responsibilities

• Team lead along with civil back ground.
• Create and maintain detailed project baselines, timelines, and milestones using project management software.
• Estimate labor, material, and capital requirements to ensure adequate capacity.
• Track day-to-day execution against the plan and identify bottlenecks.
• Assess risks and propose mitigation strategies or re-planning timelines.
• Prepare regular status reports and facilitate communication between teams, management, and external vendors.
• Monitor planning metrics such as schedule adherence, inventory turns, and on-time delivery.
• Drive capacity planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and ramp-up activities.
• Lead root cause analysis for planning deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare planning reports and present performance to management.
• Mentor and guide planning team members with continuous improvement initiatives.
