Job summary

Consensus Health in New Jersey seeks a Senior Physician Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for physicians, APPs, and other critical clinical roles. You will proactively source candidates, partner with clinical and operational leaders, and drive offers from initial contact to onboarding.

You will build proactive pipelines, advise on market conditions and compensation, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience across multiple searches and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience with physician/APP recruitment.
• Proven success sourcing passive candidates and filling difficult-to-recruit provider positions.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple searches in a high-volume environment.
• Understanding of physician and APP recruiting markets and sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication and candidate management skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems; Workday experience preferred.
• Healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other critical clinical positions.
• Manage multiple provider searches across specialties, practices, and locations.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates through direct outreach, networks, databases, and programs.
• Screen and assess candidates for clinical, professional, organizational, and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain pipelines for current and anticipated provider needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill specialties and markets.
• Partner with leaders to understand provider needs and establish search plans.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates through recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.
• Coordinate interviews, visits, and meetings; advise on market conditions and compensation.
