Job summary

D2B is seeking a Management Accountant in Metro Manila to oversee monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and variance analysis. You will monitor labour costs, margins, contractor profitability, and client performance, while assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities include payroll reconciliation, analysing award rates and labour utilisation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and labour hire regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in management accounting.
• Experience in labour hire, recruitment, staffing, construction, healthcare, logistics, or workforce-heavy industries.
• Strong understanding of payroll costing and workforce-related financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of Australian labour hire regulations and awards.
• Experience with ERP systems such as MYOB, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or Pronto.
• Power BI or financial modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Monitor labour costs, margins, contractor profitability, and client performance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Reconcile payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and contractor costs.
• Analyse award rates, overtime, allowances, and labour utilisation trends.
• Support end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax obligations, and labour hire regulations.
• Partner with operations and recruitment teams to improve financial performance.
• Prepare client profitability reports and KPI dashboards.
• Assist with audit preparation and statutory reporting.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within finance and payroll systems.
