Job summary

Sunland Development Corp is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and secure land properties for the company's projects in the Philippines. The role involves landowner coordination, due diligence, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams, legal counsel, surveyors, and government agencies.

Responsibilities include sourcing properties, conducting property evaluations, negotiating terms, and preparing required documents for acquisitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Legal Management, Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Agribusiness, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in land acquisition, property acquisition, real estate, project development, or related field.
• Experience in negotiating and coordinating with landowners and property representatives is preferred.
• Knowledge of Philippine land titles, property documentation, land ownership, and basic due diligence processes.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel to different project sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source potential land properties suitable for company projects.
• Conduct initial assessment and evaluation of properties based on location, accessibility, size, ownership, land classification, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with landowners, heirs, brokers, agents, local representatives, and other stakeholders regarding potential land acquisition.
• Coordinate with the Legal, Engineering, Technical, Finance, and Project Development teams regarding property evaluation and acquisition.
• Negotiate with landowners and representatives regarding purchase, lease, easement, or other land-use arrangements, subject to company approval.
• Prepare property evaluation reports, acquisition updates, status reports, and other documentation as required.
