Job summary

Connext is seeking an FP&A Analyst to own budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash-flow forecasting, and management reporting. The role is hands-on, developing models and insights, and partnering with the CFO and business leaders to drive actionable financial decisions.

The incumbent will lead annual budgeting, 13-week cash flow forecasting, and rolling 12-month forecasts, while delivering regular variance analyses and executive-ready reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and run annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Build and maintain a driver-based annual budget model.
• Build a 13-week cash flow forecast and rolling 12-month, three-statement forecast.
• Forecast revenue, gross margin, COGS, operating expenses, cash flow, and other key drivers.
• Create scenario and sensitivity analyses to support cash runway, fundraising, growth, and allocation decisions.
• Deliver monthly budget-versus-actual reporting with variance commentary.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, margins, COGS, and operating drivers.
• Develop financial and operational KPI dashboards.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure data flows from month-end close into forecasting.
• Prepare financial presentations and materials for CFO and leadership.
• Build segment P&Ls and profitability analyses across channels.
• Analyze seasonal and operational revenue and supply patterns.
• Partner with leaders to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
• Support investor reporting, fundraising, and due diligence with analysis and reporting.
• Improve forecasting, planning, and management reporting processes.
• Apply AI and automation to financial analysis and processes.
• Work across ERP, e-commerce, payroll, and financial platforms.
