Job summary

United Smart Tech is seeking a Fleet Manager in the Philippines to oversee vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and cost efficiency. You will drive maintenance programs, track utilization and fuel use, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of fleet/transportation management experience, plus strong budgeting, analytics, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of fleet management or transportation management experience.
• Experience managing commercial vehicle fleets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and warranty work with internal technicians and external vendors.
• Monitor fleet performance, utilization, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements and environmental regulations where applicable.
• Maintain records for vehicle registrations, insurance, permits, inspections, and maintenance history.
• Oversee vehicle acquisition, replacement, disposal, and asset lifecycle management.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, repair facilities, leasing companies, and fuel providers.
• Monitor driver qualifications, licensing, training, and compliance with safety policies.
• Coordinate accidents, insurance claims and corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports and analyze fleet metrics to identify cost savings and improvements.
• Manage fleet budgets and advise on capital expenditures.
