The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in fleet or transportation management, strong budgeting skills, and experience with fleet software and GPS/telematics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fleet management or transportation management experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA requirements.
• Experience with fleet management software and GPS/telematics.
• Strong budgeting, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate inspections, repairs, and warranty work with technicians and vendors.
• Monitor fleet performance, utilization, fuel consumption, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain records for registrations, licenses, and insurances.
• Oversee asset lifecycle, acquisitions, disposals, and budget management.
• Prepare reports and analyze fleet metrics for cost savings and improvements.
