The Recruiter is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller in the Philippines to own the entire accounting and finance function, ensuring financial integrity, tax compliance, and strategic insight for business growth. This leadership role requires deep knowledge of US GAAP, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in accounting/finance with at least 3 years in a controller or senior leadership role.
• Deep expertise in QuickBooks Online (daily operations, reporting, integrations).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance and coordinate with external US tax accountants.
• Manage audit readiness and support external reviews.
• Serve as the QuickBooks Online expert, ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and reporting.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budget.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making.
• Act as the primary liaison with US tax accountants and external auditors.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership.
