Qualifications

• Active Philippine CPA licence or recognised equivalent, independently verifiable.
• At least five years of full-set accounting experience, including two years in a senior, review or supervisory role.
• Practical Australian accounting experience, including GST and BAS preparation, monthly close and external-accountant coordination
• Inventory-based distribution, wholesale, import or ecommerce accounting experience, including landed costs and stock reconciliation.
• Proven cash forecasting, management reporting and financial control capability; strong spreadsheets and ERP skills
• Clear written and spoken English, proactive ownership and reliable Australian business-hours coverage
• Hands-on Odoo Accounting experience, including transaction reconciliation and month-end workflows
• Experience with Inventory, Purchase, Sales and multi-company workflows is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Own multi-entity month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany accounting and management reports with clear variance explanations
• Maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast, budgets and visibility of receivables, payables, tax and committed inventory purchases
• Reconcile inventory to the general ledger; investigate landed costs, cost of goods, foreign currency and stock valuation differences
• Personally perform and oversee transaction reconciliations across bank accounts, Shopify, payment gateways, refunds, customer receipts, supplier payments and clearing accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare GST, BAS and tax workpapers for authorised adviser review and lodgement; maintain the compliance calendar
• Improve Odoo finance processes, review bookkeeping work and partner with operations and sales on margins, purchasing and collections
