Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager in the Philippines to lead the accounting department and drive robust financial processes. You will oversee month-end close, treasury coordination, payroll, tax, and audits, while advising management on financial matters and process improvements.

The role requires a CPA, a bachelor's in accounting, and 2–3 years of leadership in full-cycle accounting. Hybrid work blends onsite and WFH; initial two months are onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA are required.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Experience with accounting systems is required; Workday is preferred.
• Shared Services/BPO or accounting firm background highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days onsite, 3 days WFH; full onsite in first 2 months.
• Dayshift schedule with proactive responsiveness to management needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the accounting department's day-to-day operations.
• Create and enforce accounting procedures, rules, and principles.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, AP/AR, cash receipts, GL, budgeting, and forecasts.
• Advise management on finance and accounting matters; implement improvements.
• Coordinate treasury activities with banks and ensure compliance.
• Support payroll, tax reporting, audit activities, and financial reporting.
