Par Excellence Search Consulting Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, cost management, and governance for a manufacturing operation. This hands-on role partners with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement to drive cost efficiency and business performance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance, a CPA is preferred, and experience in manufacturing finance, FP&A, or financial business partnering, with strong Excel and SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, FP&A, or financial business partnering.
• Experience in a supervisory, team lead, or managerial capacity.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and cost management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and inventory costing.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support decisions.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, budget performance, and key cost drivers.
• Analyze variances and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and governance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement to improve performance.
• Support inventory cost management and review master data (materials, BOM, routing).
• Prepare and present regular financial reports and ad hoc analyses for management.
• Identify financial risks and support controls and governance.
• Lead, coach, and develop members of the finance team.
