This role offers a structured development path into finance leadership, providing the opportunity to work closely with the Factory Controller and gain exposure to strategic manufacturing finance, business partnering, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the factory’s financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
Drive cost accounting activities, including product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis.
Prepare and present accurate monthly financial results, management reports, and performance analyses.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Lead financial planning, variance analysis, and profitability reviews.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
Support audit requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead finance improvement initiatives and projects that enhance reporting, planning, and business performance.
Act as a trusted deputy to the Factory Controller and contribute to key finance projects and business initiatives.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
At least 5 years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Cost Accounting
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Budgeting and Business Partnering
Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior management.
Demonstrated leadership potential, with experience mentoring team members or leading cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and a continuous improvement orientation.
