Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Manager – Finance to lead end‑to‑end plant finance, budgeting and costing. You will partner with Plant Head and Operations to provide timely financial insights and drive cost optimization across procurement, production and accounting functions.

You will oversee month‑end close, variance analysis, capex control and statutory compliance, while developing the finance team and ensuring robust internal controls in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA Finance with 7–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in automotive, auto components, or manufacturing finance.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, plant finance, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FICO/CO and MS Excel preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory, CAPEX, working capital and financial controls.
• Good analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Candidates with exposure to automotive OEM/Tier‑1/Tier‑2 environments will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant finance, accounting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare and monitor MIS, P&L, budgets and variance analysis.
• Drive product costing, BOM costing, standard costing and cost analysis.
• Monitor material, labour, conversion and manufacturing overhead costs.
• Analyze actual vs. budget and standard vs. actual cost variances.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation and slow‑moving/obsolete inventory.
• Control CAPEX, fixed assets and project‑related financial investments.
• Manage month‑end closing, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, statutory requirements and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal, statutory and cost audits.
