MJM Manufacturing Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced Accounting / Finance Supervisor to lead the Finance and Accounting Department, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide management with reliable financial information. The role emphasizes ownership of the finance function and strong controls.

You will supervise a team, manage cash flow, financial reporting, and month-/year-end closing, while developing staff and strengthening internal controls to protect assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting/finance experience with supervisory/leadership exposure.
• Proven experience managing a company's Finance/Accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
• Experience with government and tax compliance is preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Leadership and people-management abilities; able to advise management.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Review accounting records, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash position, and other financial activities
• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls over financial transactions
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and/or review financial statements and management reports
• Monitor daily cash position and cash requirements and assist in cash flow forecasting
• Lead, supervise, and develop Finance and Accounting personnel
• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks
