Job summary

ASIAPEOPLEWORKS INC. in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and uphold internal controls within a manufacturing context.

You will oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, month-end close, and cost/inventory accounting while mentoring staff and coordinating with auditors. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting with 3–5 years of experience, including supervisory roles; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years accounting experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, AP/AR, and fixed assets.
• Review transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closes.
• Oversee production costs, material usage, labor costs, and overhead allocations.
• Ensure tax compliance, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Prepare schedules for internal and external audits.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Develop process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting.
