Job summary

RMR CAPITAL INC. in the Philippines seeks a Group Project Finance & Control Manager to provide independent financial oversight, conduct project performance reviews, and manage cost control and profitability analysis across all operating companies and projects.

You will partner with Group Management, project teams, Finance and Accounting, Procurement, Project Management, and external contractors to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls, and timely, data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group-wide project finance and cost control framework across operating companies and projects.
• Monitor project financial performance, budgets, expenditures, commitments, and forecasts.
• Conduct Budget vs. Actual (BVA), variance, profitability, and margin analysis to identify financial risks and cost overruns.
• Review and validate project billings against contracts, milestones, accomplishments, change orders, and supporting documents.
• Independently review subcontractor and supplier billings, including quantities, rates, deliverables, and contractual adjustments.
• Monitor project revenue, costs, gross margins, cash flow, and overall financial viability.
• Review and challenge project forecasts, EAC/ETC, cost assumptions, and projected financial performance.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, approval processes, documentation, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, unsupported costs, billing discrepancies, and potential margin deterioration, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site visits and operational validation when necessary to verify project accomplishments, quantities, deliveries, and other information supporting financial reports.
• Consolidate project financial information and provide Management with clear, forward-looking insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Commercial, Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Audit teams to resolve financial and operational issues.
