Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Collections Analyst to manage day-to-day collection activities for a group of Key Accounts and ensure timely payment processing. You will collaborate with disputes, sales, and other internal teams to resolve delinquencies, while aligning with Vertiv's collection policy.

You will participate in process improvements and work toward reducing reasons for payment delays across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• University studies.
• 1-2 years Customer Service and 2-3 years BtoB Collections/Accounts Receivable experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be assertive and confident.
• Must have positive attitude and focus on customer-service.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, committed to deliver results, meeting multiple deadlines, and able to work under pressure.
• Must have previously worked in AR or B2B Collections handling own portfolio.
• Proficient in MS Office; willingness to learn ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, GetPaid a plus).
• Ability to set priorities and handle a high volume of communications.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitor the customer accounts to identify overdue and due invoices and reach out to customers.
• Submit all customer documentation requirements to secure payment.
• Encourage timely payments by sending statements and maintaining relationships with AP teams.
• Research disputes/short payments/credits with cash application or customers.
• Act on resolution of disputes by coordinating with order management, sales, or tax teams.
• Escalate unresolved disputes to senior collectors or leadership as needed.
• Update account/invoice status and collection efforts in the collection tool.
• Work with cash application to resolve unapplied cash.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting as required.
