Job summary

Matcha.com is seeking a Strategic Accounts & Financial Operations Specialist to strengthen financial oversight of its largest and most complex customer accounts and deals. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, financial operations, customer contracts and cash flow planning.

You will translate contract terms into clear financial tracking, collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance, and help leadership understand cash flow implications of major accounts.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years in accounting, financial ops, or related field.
• Strong grasp of AR, revenue, cash flow, working capital, and controls.
• Experience reviewing complex contracts.
• Experience with large B2B, manufacturing or inventory-heavy businesses preferred.
• Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Ops, and Finance.
• Independent, structured thinker.

Responsibilities

• Serve as financial point person for Matcha.com's largest accounts and deals.
• Review major customer agreements and translate terms into financial tracking.
• Ensure contracts, pricing, payment terms, deposits, volumes, and charges are reflected in records.
• Identify discrepancies or exposures and raise proactively.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align deals with financial realities.
• Review documentation for financial implications.
• Track key requirements: payment terms, deposits, commitments, pricing, freight, tariffs, shipments, credits.
• Ensure tracking aligns with executed terms.
• Flag misaligned commercial activity and clarify terms with stakeholders.
• Develop cash flow visibility for major accounts.
• Track inflows vs outflows and milestones.
• Help leadership understand payments timing with production and shipments.
• Identify cash flow gaps early.
• Maintain reporting for upcoming cash needs and collections.
• Analyze performance and reporting on strategic accounts.
• Reconcile information across systems and investigate discrepancies.
