Emapta is seeking a Junior Accountant - Strata to support Australian client accounts from the Philippines. The role covers bank reconciliations, supplier invoices, owner payments, and compliance, with a focus on Xero and strata accounting expertise. Work is remote with a Day Shift and permanent WFH arrangement.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in accounting, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Growth opportunities across global finance teams are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or academic background in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related field.
• Strong willingness to learn and build a career in accounting.
• Willingness to receive and apply feedback and direction.
• Strong attention to detail, basic numeracy skills, and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work calmly and reliably under supervision while managing routine deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow established processes and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bank reconciliations and strata scheme accounts under supervision.
• Enter and process supplier invoices and owner payments.
• Support preparation of electronic payment runs for Accountant review.
• Assist with basic accounts payable/receivable tasks and maintain records.
• Maintain accurate and organized client financial records and documentation.
