A leading Australian firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to support business and individual clients. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing Xero files, and ensuring compliance. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of accounting experience with Australian entities and extensive knowledge of Xero. Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience working with Australian companies.
• Hands-on experience using Xero daily.
• Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements for Australian clients.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, and tax workpapers.
• Manage Xero files, including reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end accounts.
• Maintain documentation and working papers.
• Support process improvements.
