Emapta Philippines is seeking a Junior Accountant - Corporate to support Australian clients with Xero accounting, bank reconciliations, payroll, BAS lodgements, and financial reporting. Qualifications

• Educational background in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field, either completed or currently in progress.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related field.
• Strong learning aptitude and genuine interest in building a career in accounting, with openness to feedback and direction.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Client Accounting for allocated clients, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, under supervision.
• Prepare compliance obligations for allocated clients, including BAS/IAS lodgements, superannuation, payroll tax, and WorkCover, for review and sign-off by the Accountant.
• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for allocated clients and communicate with clients and staff on routine accounting matters.
• Escalate complex or sensitive accounting matters to the Accountant.
• Complete month-end and year-end tasks for allocated clients as directed.
