Job summary

Aurecon’s Water Team in Manila is seeking a Stormwater Engineer to contribute to diverse projects and grow within a world‑class engineering company. You will engage in design, modelling and project delivery across international markets, starting from Aurecon’s Global Delivery Center in Manila.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of stormwater/drainage experience, Civil 3D or 12d proficiency, and strong GIS skills, with a passion for learning and collaboration in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage but not required.
• With 5+ years of experience in a similar position (Stormwater/drainage design and flood modelling).
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or 12d.
• GIS experience with QGIS, ArcGIS or MapInfo.
• Fundamental understanding of hydrology.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with the team in a knowledge sharing environment.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with different teams in Aurecon.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop stormwater management solutions for various projects, including transport/land/water infrastructure.
• Prepare hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess stormwater flows and system performance.
• Collaborate across disciplines to address queries and drive optimal engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs adhere to legislation, guidelines and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, design specifications and documentation for project submissions and regulatory approvals.
• Undertake site investigations, data analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
