Job summary

WSP in Manila seeks a Drainage Design Engineer to join their Transport Roads and Civil Team. The role focuses on drainage design for roads and civil projects, with emphasis on surface water and cross drainage and water quality measures.

You will collaborate with drafters and contribute to design reports while mentoring junior engineers. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering license and have strong hydrologic/hydraulic modelling skills; 12D experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a professional license.
Experience with drainage design for major transport projects is an advantage.
Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tools relevant to road drainage.
Knowledge of 12D is highly desirable; HECRAS, MUSIC, TuFlow are beneficial.
Desire to develop skills using Bentley SUDA for drainage design.

Responsibilities

Undertake surface water drainage and cross drainage design for roads, rail and civil projects.
Understand pavement and subsurface drainage design for roads and civil projects.
Design and model water quality measures for roads and civil projects.
Liaise with drafters to produce design drawings.
Prepare drainage design reports.
Assist in developing less experienced engineers in a collaborative team environment.
