Job summary

WSP in Pasig, Philippines is seeking a Drainage Design Engineer to join the Transport Roads and Civil Team. The role focuses on surface water drainage and cross drainage design for roads, rail and civil projects, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness and quality output.

You'll collaborate with drafters to produce design drawings, mentor junior engineers, and apply hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tools such as 12D, HECRAS, MUSIC and TuFlow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Experience with drainage design for major transport projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake surface water drainage and cross drainage design for roads, rail and civil projects.
• Understanding of pavement and subsurface drainage design for roads and civil projects.

Qualifications

• Proven recent Australian experience drainage design for major transport projects is an advantage.
• Have a good understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling packages used in the design of road drainage, cross drainage and flood analysis, and ancillary drainage items such as scour protection and water quality control.
• Proficiency in 12D for drainage design and analysis, is highly desirable, and experience in packages such as HECRAS, MUSIC, TuFlow, would be advantageous.
• A desire to develop skills and use Bentley SUDA for drainage design and analysis
• High attention to details, excellent client-focus and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
