Job summary

Planet Sports Inc. seeks a Store Supervisor responsible for accurate cashiering operations, ensuring correct pricing, daily cash deposits, and reliable reporting to head office.

You will oversee cash receipts, balance end-of-day reports, and monitor transactions per company policy while guiding the store team. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, 1–3 years in retail finance, strong communication, and a sports enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares invoice for all branch transactions following Finance procedures.
• Double-checks and ensures price is correct.
• Ensures cash/card transaction receipts are accurate.
• Implements, monitors and safekeeps the change fund issued by Finance.
• Prepares End of Day Cashier’s Report and balances with cash on hand.
• Deposits daily cash/check collections to the Bank.
• Monitors and transacts other payment types per policy.
• Ensures proper discounts are issued per transaction type.
• Transmits daily cashier’s reports to head office.
• Accountable for shortages or overages.
• Understands selling trends and communicates to Store Team.

Job Description:

Store Supervisors are in charge of ensuring accurate and efficient cashiering operations at all times. Sells and attends to customers’ needs as necessary.

Main Duties:

• Prepares invoice for all types of branch transactions following procedures as prescribed by Finance Division.

  • Double-checks and ensures price is correct

  • Ensures cash/card transaction receipts are accurate

  • Implements, monitors and safe keeps change fund issued by Finance Division

• Prepares regularly an End of Day Cashier’s Report and computes/balances the report versus cash on hand and transaction receipts for the day.

• Ensures proper turnover of Cashier’s Report, cash accountabilities and transaction receipts to Finance Division at prescribed cut-off time, and/or ensures daily deposits of cash/checks collection to the Bank.

• Monitors, controls and transacts other types of payments such and others according to prescribed policies and procedures.

• Ensures that proper discounts are issued accordingly per type of transaction, if any.

• Ensures the regular and accurate deposit of sales collections to the prescribed bank on a daily basis.

• Maintains/monitors all file copy of deposit slips and passbook.

• Transmits Daily cashier’s reports to head office

• Accountable for any shortages or overages.

• Understands selling trends and communicates this to Store Team or appropriate departments.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least College/Bachelor's Degree in Supply Business Management or any related course.

• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience required
