About the role

Ace Hardware Phils., Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team in Sorsogon City, Sorsogon. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our retail store. As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position offers the opportunity to develop your retail management skills whilst contributing to the growth and profitability of our store.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing daily store operations and ensuring the store meets sales targets and operational objectives

• Managing, training, and supervising store staff to ensure excellent performance and customer service standards

• Conducting staff recruitment, induction, and performance management activities as required

• Monitoring inventory levels and stock rotation to maintain product availability and minimise shrinkage

• Ensuring the store environment is clean, well-organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

• Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

• Processing cash and managing the point-of-sale system accurately and securely

• Implementing store promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies to enhance sales

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting to senior management on store performance and staffing matters

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant retail regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven retail management experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably in the hardware or consumer products sector

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Excellent customer service orientation and proven ability to build positive customer relationships

• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and retail management software

• Sound knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and merchandising practices
