Job summary

MERRYMART GROCERY CENTERS, INC. is seeking a Store Planning Assistant in Pasay City to prepare complete working drawings and documentation for new stores, ensuring templates are endorsed to awarded contractors and all details are accurate.

You will monitor construction progress, coordinate with contractors, and render on-site inspections, submitting weekly status reports. On-site exam and head office interview are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in architectural drawing and documentation.
• Knowledge of store design criteria for retail environments.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical design approach.
• Willingness to deploy onsite for ocular inspections.
• Prepared to take an onsite exam and attend final interview at the head office.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

• - PREPARATION OF COMPLETE WORKING DRAWINGS AND DOCUMENTATIONS – should be clear, accurate and complete working drawings/detailed drawings for new stores (all templates to be endorsed to awarded contractors.
• - ORDERS AND SET DELIVERY FOR ALL OSM, DISPLAY FIXTURES – complete requisition of all OSM fixtures/fitting and equipment and ensures will be delivered on time with the coordination from the assigned contractor per project.
• - MONITOR AND REPORT CONSTRUCTION STATUS – rationalize and provide weekly construction update / reports

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• - WITH KNOWLEDGE FOR THE FOLLOWING ARCHITECTURAL TOOLS
• A. AUTOCAD
• B. 3D RENDERING SOFTWARE ( SKETCH UP, LUMION, VRAY AND THE LIKE)
• - KNOWLEGABLE IN DESIGN CRITERIA IMPLEMENATION FOR SUPERMARKETS / RETAIL
• - WITH GOOD VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• - STRONG ANALYTICAL DESIGN SKILLS, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND HARDWORKING
• - WILLING TO DEPLOY ON SITE FOR OCULAR INSPECTION FOR CONSTRUCTION MONITORING
