Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and handle customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and proper product display at all times.
• Support the store in achieving daily and monthly sales targets; monitor daily sales and report issues.
• Handle cash transactions (POS) with opening/closing procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in controlling store expenses and minimizing losses; daily cash deposits and vault security.
• Supervise store staff during shifts; assist in scheduling, attendance and task delegation.
• Provide guidance to team members to maintain productivity and a positive work environment.
• Assist in inventory counting, stock replenishment, and proper storage; ensure correct pricing/ labeling.
• Report discrepancies or stock issues to the Store Manager; ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit daily sales and operational reports; document incidents and concerns.

JOB SUMMARY:

Store Officer-in-Charge (OIC) is responsible for overseeing the daily store operations. The role ensures smooth store operations, excellent customer service, proper inventory handling, and compliance with company policies and standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Store Operations & Customer Service

• Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.

• Maintain high standards of customer service and handle customer concerns promptly and professionally.

• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and proper product display at all times.

2. Sales Support & Cash Handling

• Support the store in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

• Monitor daily sales and report any issues or concerns to the Store Manager.

• Handle cash transactions (POS), including opening and closing procedures, and ensure accuracy.

• Assist in controlling store expenses and minimizing losses.

• Daily cash sales deposit and Vault cash security and management.

3. Staff Supervision

• Supervise store staff during assigned shifts and ensure adherence to company standards.

• Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and daily task delegation.

• Provide guidance and support to team members to maintain productivity and efficiency.

• Help maintain a positive and professional work environment.

4. Inventory & Merchandising

• Assist in inventory counting, stock replenishment, and proper storage.

• Ensure correct pricing, labeling, and product display.

• Report discrepancies or stock issues to the Store Manager.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.

• Assist in maintaining updated store permits and documents as required.

• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and security during operations.

6. Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily sales and operational reports.

• Report any operational issues, customer concerns, or staff-related matters to the Store Manager.

• Assist in documenting incidents and store concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:
