Job summary

Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is seeking an IT Assistant to provide 24/7 remote and on-site technical support for stores, branches, and warehouses. The role ensures on-time opening of locations and continuous operation of IT systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate troubleshoots hardware/software, supports day-to-day IT operations across multiple sites, and collaborates with vendors to maintain business continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Preferably with motorcycle.
• At least 6 months of working experience in IT Support Systems or related field.
• Basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficient in MS Office, SQL and Database Management.
• Proficient in Windows, Mac OS & Linux.
• Basic network troubleshooting and setup.
• Knowledgeable in POS hardware and software.
• Driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time IT equipment delivery and setup for new store openings.
• Perform pre and final store opening procedures.
• Provide store grand opening support.
• Provide first-level support in Stores, Branch Back Offices and Warehouses via remote or on-site.
• Prioritize and resolve day-to-day system issues and client requests.
• Ensure quality service support for internal clients across locations.
• Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment in stores and warehouses.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty/contract support.
