Job summary

Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is seeking an IT Assistant to provide 24/7 remote and on-site support for stores, branches, and warehouse facilities. The role ensures on-time opening of locations and continuous operation of IT systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/SE, at least 6 months IT support experience, and is proficient in Windows, MAC, Linux, MS Office, and basic network troubleshooting. Motorcycle is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 6 months of working experience in IT Support Systems or related field.
• Proficient in Windows, MAC & Linux and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time IT equipment delivery and setup for new store openings.
• Perform pre and final store opening procedures.
• Perform store grand opening support.
• Provides first level support in Stores, Branch Back Offices and Warehouses via remote or on-site.
• Prioritize and resolve day-to-day system issues and client requests.
• Ensure quality service support for internal clients.
• Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment across locations.
• Coordinate with vendors on warranty/contract IT support.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an IT Assistant who will provide 24/7 remote and on-site technical support to stores, branches, and warehouse facilities. The role ensures the on-time opening of locations and the continuous, uninterrupted operation of IT systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate is responsible for responding to technical issues promptly, troubleshooting hardware and software concerns, and supporting day-to-day IT operations across multiple sites to maintain business continuity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the on-time IT equipment delivery and setup for the new store opening.

• Perform pre and final store opening procedures.

• Perform store grand opening support

• Provides first level support in Stores, Branch Back Offices and Warehouses via remote or on-site based on the filed helpdesk tickets.

• Prioritize and resolve day to day system issues/ problems and clients requests according to standard processes

• Ensures quality service support for all the internal clients in Stores, Branch Back Offices and Warehouses.

• Coordinates with 3rd party suppliers and contractors.

• Monitor and maintains IT equipment in Stores, Branch Back Offices and Warehouses.

• Coordinates with vendors, reported issues that are related to IT units under warranty/contract support.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE PART OF THE TEAM

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• PREFERABLY WITH MOTORCYCLE

• At least 6 months of working experience in IT Support Systems or in a related field preferred.

• Basic Hardware and Software troubleshooting

• Documentations

• Proficient in MS Office Application. SQL and Database Management

• Proficient in Windows, MAC & Linux.

• Basic Network troubleshooting and setup

• Knowledgeable in POS Hardware and Software

• Drivers Licenses is preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication skills necessary to communicate and discuss changes to policies procedures, the implications of such changes and the resulting impact on workloads
