Job summary

UERM Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Materials Management professional to monitor inventory levels and validate procurement documents for hospital supplies. The role requires careful inspection of imports, timely issuance, and adherence to CAReS and PSPO protocols.

The candidate should have a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience, with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Immediate start is preferred and a full-time position is available.

Responsibilities

• Analyses the materials management and inventory system to ensure the right amount of stocks.
• Reviews and validates commercial documents before shipment of stocks and delivery transactions.
• Receives and examines the quality and quantity of the imported supplies.
• Recommends for approval the issuance/allotment of the requested supplies for CAReS and PSPO.
• Releases supplies to designated hospital staff, school technicians, and PSPO students upon validation of the approved request.
• Conducts periodic inventory count and monitors items that require temperature storage.
• Reports and investigates obsolete products and recommends actions to avoid excess and obsolete stocks

• Reviews and validates commercial documents before the shipment of stocks and delivery transactions

• Receives and examines the quality and quantity of the imported supplies




• Recommends for approval the issuance/allotment of the requested supplies for CAReS and PSPO




• Releases supplies to designated hospital staff, school technicians, and PSPO students upon validation of the approved request




• Conducts periodic inventory count and constant monitoring of items that require temperature storage to avoid defective stock




• Reports and investigates obsolete products to the concerned units and recommends proper course of actions to avoid carrying excess and obsolete stocks in the future
