Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, analyzing stock movement, preparing reports, and ensuring proper documentation and monitoring of all inventory activities. This role supports warehouse operations and collaborates with sales and management teams to optimize inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current inventory statistics to determine stock movement and improve inventory management
- Prepare and report on current inventory, incoming shipments, and purchase orders against sales forecasts from different business units
- Submit recommendations for purchase orders and arrival of shipments
- Control and maintain all inventory documents for proper monitoring
- Conduct scheduled cycle counts of inventory items in the warehouses
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports documenting counts, discrepancies, inventory levels, and incoming shipments
- Reconcile inventory count discrepancies and report to management for approval
- Report expired and near-expiry items monthly and coordinate with the Sales Team
- Monitor non-moving and slow-moving items
- Track returned items and maintain proper documentation
- Participate in wall-to-wall inventory counts across all warehouses
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
