Obra, building the world's first full-stack AI hospital, seeks a Founder Associate to work directly with our CEO on growth, operations, product, hiring, finance, and expansion.

You will transform ambiguous problems into finished outcomes, then build a system so they stay solved. You will begin as a generalist with potential to lead major functions; entrepreneurs who have built something real are preferred.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial experience with starting a real business or project and selling to customers.
• Proven ability to persuade, follow up relentlessly, and close effectively.
• AI-native mindset, using AI to research, analyze, automate, prototype, write, and operate faster.
• Ownership mindset: take vague problems from discovery to finished results.
• autodidactic with fast learning and resourcefulness; self-teaches needed skills.
• Willing to roll up sleeves and work in the trenches to deliver outcomes.
• Highly organized and capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Comfort with systemic thinking to fix root causes and automate where possible.

Responsibilities

• Company: work with the CEO to run the company and improve internal operating system.
• Hiring: design roles, source candidates, run interviews, onboarding.
• Finance: maintain financial reporting, cash flow, payroll, invoices.
• Investors: prepare updates, manage information requests, fundraising support.
• Legal: coordinate contracts, insurance, IP, corporate needs with external professionals.
• Systems: improve AI, Notion, task management, meetings, and communications.
• Strategy: lay groundwork for overall company strategy with the CEO.
• Growth/Sales/Product/Research/Expansion: execute and iterate on initiatives; tackle special projects.
