Job summary

Pagos Consultants seeks a Founders Associate to join the founding team and own a revenue-generating product from day one. You will act as a technical and commercial generalist, using AI to build products, automate workflows, and move ideas to production.

You will work across product, growth, strategy, and operations, and make high-impact decisions that influence the product trajectory. This role offers significant autonomy and exposure to the founding team in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience using AI tools with at least one concrete project built.

Responsibilities

• Own a revenue-generating product end to end, including commercial and operational performance.

The Role

We are looking for a Founders Associate to work directly alongside the founding team and take ownership of a revenue-generating product.

This is not a traditional strategy or support position. You will have direct responsibility for the commercial performance, roadmap, execution, and growth of a product from day one.

You will operate as a technical and commercial generalist, using AI extensively to build products, automate workflows, analyse data, and move quickly from ideas to production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning a revenue-generating product end to end, including its commercial and operational performance
• Building AI-powered tools, automations, workflows, and products from concept through to production
• Using modern AI tools as a core part of your day-to-day working and building process
• Analysing product and commercial data, forming your own hypotheses, and making evidence-based decisions
• Working across product, growth, strategy, and operations depending on where the greatest opportunity exists
• Identifying opportunities to improve revenue, engagement, unit economics, and operational performance
• Going deep into new problems and quickly developing expertise where required
• Making high-impact decisions that directly influence the trajectory of your product
• Working closely with the founders on new product opportunities and strategic initiatives

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with the ability and desire to build.

You may come from a business background with significant technical experience, or from a technical background with demonstrated commercial ability.

Typically, you will have:

• Strong practical experience using AI tools and technologies, with at least one example of a tool, automation, workflow, or product you have built yourself
• A combination of technical and commercial capabilities
• A strong understanding of revenue, unit economics, growth, and the commercial drivers behind a product
• Experience working with data and independently analysing product or business performance
• An exceptional academic or professional track record
• Experience from a leading technology company, startup, consulting firm, investment firm, or similarly high-performance environment
• Evidence of intellectual curiosity and initiative through side projects, hackathons, startup involvement, technical communities, or similar activities
• The ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, highly performance-oriented environment
• A high degree of ownership and comfort working with limited structure
• The ability to move rapidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution

• Have previously founded or attempted to build a company, product, or side project
• Have experience at an early-stage, venture-backed startup
• Have built and shipped products independently
