Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Revenue Intelligence to shape technical direction across customer apps, backend services, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role focuses on reliability, security, and scalable architecture for hospitality data driven decisions.

You will mentor teams, drive platform improvements, and collaborate with product, data science, and security leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes for hoteliers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in production systems.
• Strong Python expertise and ability to guide decisions beyond a single language.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve the technical strategy for Revenue Intelligence, translating product goals into architecture.
• Lead design and delivery across web apps, APIs, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Identify risks in scalability, reliability, security, and data quality, mitigating them proactively.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems with incremental migrations ensuring stability.
• Mentor teams, set standards, and raise engineering effectiveness across the organization.
