Job summary

Fireworks is building a new Product-Led Growth team and seeks a creative, high-agency product engineer to join as one of its first engineers. You will build the growth platform guiding developers from first visit to production-scale usage.

You’ll diagnose problems, prototype solutions, run experiments, and collaborate across product, design, marketing, data, and sales to deliver fast, reliable experiences. Prior PLG or developer-tools experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping user-facing products.
• Strong full-stack skills with TS/React and backend Go.
• Experience with A/B testing and product analytics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead without authority and own outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own developer outcomes end to end: identify problems, shape solutions, prototype, ship, and instrument results.
• Build growth foundations: event tracking, funnels, experimentation framework, lifecycle messaging.
• Design and run experiments with rigorous hypotheses and metrics.
• Talk directly to developers and translate feedback into working code.
• Craft polished, fast, accessible experiences on marketing site and product.
• Analyze funnels and cohort data to identify the next bet and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, data, and sales for self-serve growth alongside sales-led motion.
• Use AI coding tools to move quickly while ensuring quality.
